Ken Sorey

Ken is an independent consultant, who recently served as Senior Executive Vice President of Educational Results Partnership.  Ken led statewide and national initiatives that provide actionable data to public schools, districts, colleges and universities leading to improved academic, college completion and workplace outcomes for students through his leadership of CalPassPlus.  He also served as the primary liaison with business leaders to provide them with a focused voice on improving their workforce pipeline.  Ken has 28 years of experience building business and education partnerships and in helping schools and colleges improve student outcomes and prepare the future workforce.

Ken previously led the Bay Area School-to-Career Action Network and co-led the California School-to-Career Action Network.  Prior to his work in education, Ken provided marketing and market research consulting to numerous corporations, small businesses and non-profit organizations.  He has served on the board of directors for the San Francisco School Alliance and several education advisory boards across the state.  He is a transfer student from Foothill Community College, holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from University of California, Berkeley and advanced training at the Culinary Institute of America.
