Tamara Hamai, Ph.D., has dedicated her career to rebuilding our global systems to encourage children’s holistic growth and well-being, from prenatal through the completion of higher education – especially those who are most vulnerable and facing the greatest challenges. In 2008, she founded Hamai Consulting as a platform to empower nonprofits and public agencies serving children and families. She is an expert in increasing the impact of an organization and streamlining their services. She helps nonprofits to access the right information, at the right time, so they can make a bigger difference in children’s lives. Dr. Hamai’s work spans many topics related to nonprofits and child development. She has previously been featured by KTLA, KPIX CBS San Francisco, ABC 7 News, NBC Radio, and the American Psychological Association, among others. Dr. Hamai currently serves as the President Elect for the National Partnership to End Interpersonal Violence, and in leadership roles in the American Evaluation Association.
