James Thibeau

A veteran education technology executive with 30+ years of leadership in software, services, and customer success, James has spent the past two decades driving innovation in higher education. He has held key leadership roles in customer success and services at WebCT, Blackboard, Wimba, and several startups, working closely with institutions to enhance student outcomes.

From 2016 to 2024, James served as Vice President of Customer Success at EduNav, a company dedicated to reducing student costs and time to graduation through more efficient advising and course planning technology. Following EduNav’s acquisition by Ellucian in 2024, he has leveraged his expertise to consult on higher education initiatives, including violence prevention and workforce development.

James began his career teaching undergraduate history at Boston University while pursuing a Ph.D. in European history. He holds a B.A. in history from the University of New Hampshire.

With deep expertise in edtech, student success, and workforce development, James continues to drive innovation in higher education.
