Data Science Integration (volunteer)
Danielle Saunders is a data scientist in education and workforce development aiming to promote 21st century skills. Bringing in new analytics, she authored most of the evaluation of the CSU’s systemwide Course Redesign with Technology program. She co-founded Eclasstic, a learning management system offering supplementary communications courses for international students such as those at UC Davis. She has a degree in entrepreneurship, completed the Galvanize Data Science Immersive, wrote for EdSurge Independent, and is creating a machine learning model that suggests actions to career-seekers based on their desired occupation and U.S. Census data. She draws inspiration from comparing the educational systems she has attended: public, private, IB, charter, home, boarding, foreign, bootcamp, and un-schools. She is most proud of teaching others and applying the science of learning. She looks forward to bringing organizations together to create efficient, analyzed pathways to work which capitalize on student and teacher agency.
